This piece features a female leaf insect that was ethically sourced from a wildlife sanctuary in Indonesia. Some of her damaged feet were anatomically repaired with 23k gold in the process of creating the piece. The leaf insect sits inside a set of repurposed metal components from airplane parts and pieces from a grandfather clock.
