A Saree for the Vineyard
This is a large-scale sculptural textile developed from silk dyed with grape leaf pigments sourced from vineyards in the Cognac region. Traditionally worn as a garment, the saree format was reinterpreted as a pleated textile form responding to landscape contours. The leaves were processed using slow, water-based extraction methods to produce a range of yellow, olive and green tones shaped by soil composition and grape variety.
