Axis bowl

In this piece, two bowl forms have been cut from a single sphere. Each bowl features two distinct sections of clear layered glass and a golden coloured section. The gold section has been embellished with a traditional faceting technique called battuto, in which the glass is cut repeatedly into a pattern resembling a beaten or hammered surface.
