Walnut ribbon and carbon fibre jewellery box

This jewellery box is created using a reverse inlay technique, with fine walnut ribbons fitted into the surface and the negative spaces filled with milled carbon fibre in epoxy resin. The hinges, lock and escutcheon are handmade in the UK from polished stainless steel. The interior is lined with cotton velvet and includes one tray.
