Hamish in the highlands

This large wall hanging was based on a photograph Yvonne Iten-Scott had taken of a highland cow in Scotland. The cow has been hand hooked with shades of brown and orange wool on a linen backing and features horns braided with wool. The landscape background reflects the heather growing in the highlands and was hand quilted with cotton fabric.
