Manga Ormolu Ver. 6.0-a

This piece, part of a series of working with the idea of updating Ming dynasty vessels for the future, combines wheel throwing, altering, hand building and slab-construction techniques. The vessel’s rendered surface alludes to the visual language of early computer 3D animation.
