L’Atlantide

This is an example of contemporary mosaic binding, typical of the early 2000s. This is created for a limited edition of l'Atlantide by Pierre Benoît using mustard and sky blue goatskin and suede. Luis Mínguez Serrano embossed the leather and glued a blue mosaic pattern with brass windows over the yellow mustard cover. The design represents the mythical continent of Atlantis surrounded by architecture, sand and seas.
