Traditional Granada plate

This traditional Granada plate can be considered a compendium of classic local motifs, featuring birds, pomegranates, butterflies, flowers and eyes. The only non-traditional element is the penguin, reinterpreted here in the language of Granada ceramics. All motifs are surrounded by abundant foliage scrollwork, with an alternating battlement border and a rim marked with leaf detailing.
