Miriam (Side 1)

Using coiled yarn and shag textures Tammy Kanat’s Miriam sculpture is built using weaving, wrapping and knotting techniques. She uses bands of turquoise, navy, coral and violet wool to create this large hanging textile sculpture in an elongated oval form.
