Textured ceramic object 5

This sculptural vessel is hand built in dark stoneware. Its rounded body rests on a slightly tapered base and rises to an irregular rim. The surface, textured with stone and found materials, is partially veiled in porcelain slip, creating a striking contrast and accentuating its tactile character.
