Lusito teapot

This tan sculpture, titled Helpful, is built on a circular unibody base that is slightly tilted to express that it is pouring out tea. It is made of Jacaranda wood, which is kept in the shade after carving to allow it to dry slowly and prevent cracks. It is sealed with wood oil for protection. The teapot is inspired by off-grid and natural living where life is slow and meaningful.
