The Cloth of Gold

This cloth is spun from solid gold using Giovanni Corvaja's own technique. Gold is first drawn into wires three times thinner than silk fibre. Then, 300 of these wires are spun together to create a yarn, which is later woven into a cloth on a self-made loom.
