Expectations

This is a greyhound on a plinth with hands placed around the dog's body. It was created with coil and slab techniques, with layers of slip and blue pigments used for mark-making, and details in sgraffito and incised lines filled with iron oxide. The base is decorated with hand painted cobalt oxide patterns.
