This animal-shaped object is hand carved, cut and polished from solid optical crystal, inspired by Palaeolithic carvings and figurines. A layer of multi-coloured fused glass is sandwiched in between the head and torso. The object captures and refracts light to give different perspectives when viewed from varying angles.
