This unglazed, neutral-coloured disk is hand built from porcelain clay and can be hung on a wall. Its surface has been imprinted with a real botanical Asplenium rutifolium fern frond, which is coloured in green stain. The disk is dried, smoothed and painted with stains and oxides. The edges are cleaned up by hand before firing.
Homo Faber Finds is a new service aiming to inspire admirers of craft to connect and collaborate with exceptional artisans.
