These three hand carved wooden vases from the Halo collection reinterpret ornamental forms through a contemporary lens. Influenced by Baroque and Rococo traditions from Brazilian colonial era, their shapes explore proportion and detail, while the ebonised finish adds a calm, modern tone. With this series, Estúdio Carmine sought to bring back a sense of individuality to domestic objects, countering the neutrality of minimalist design.
