Large shawl in garter stitch
Luisa Guardo created this large ivory alpaca shawl by handweaving it on a low-warp loom in 100% baby alpaca, using the punto de tripa weave to produce raised square grids with a three-dimensional effect. The piece is finished with hand-knotted fringes and has a soft, enveloping drape.
