Still Life

This sculptural set is born from a long reflection on everyday life and the objects that inhabit it. It replicates photographs of objects taken over the course of a month, which Saman Kalantari defines as a gestation period. A vital trace remains in the bright colour of the orange from the ripe fruits that have deteriorated over the weeks. The influence of Giorgio Morandi’s paintings is very strong in this project.
