This illustration shows a person making their way through a tall-grown cornfield from a bird’s-eye view. It is part of the book project The Cornfield. The piece began as an analogue drawing using line markers and ink brushes. Combined with handmade patterns and paper textures, and later digitally colorised, it unfolds into a vibrant and richly layered composition.
