
This three-piece knife set combines traditional craftsmanship with modern performance. Each blade is forged using sanmai, a Japanese bladesmithing technique in which a hard steel core is layered between two softer outer layers of iron. In this case, the outer layers are forged from antique wrought iron, giving the knives a unique, textured appearance, and the core is made from ApexUltra, a high-performance modern steel known for its sharpness and edge retention. The set includes a paring knife, an S-ground vegetable cleaver, and a long chef’s knife that also functions well for carving.
