Winter Pixie

This is a collection of hellebores, snowdrops, dwarf irises and pansies made from silk, cotton, satin and wire. The flowers bloom in late winter and early spring. This piece emphasizes natural lines and curves that create a sense of movement. Each petal is coloured with a multi-medium technique, resulting in intricate and delicate patterns throughout the composition.
