Remember the Auerhahn

This work is crafted from clear glass lenses, gold leaf and woven cane. The delicate engravings, shaped like feathers, and the cut-outs create texture and depth. It evokes the Auerhahn, a shy bird that briefly appears in the morning light, its golden feathers glowing.
