These two stylised ceramic birds are hand-shaped and horsehair fired. Their surfaces are smooth, matte and monochromatic. Abstract, smoky patterns appear across each form, created by the burning of horsehair on the amber-hot surface during firing, giving each bird a unique, organic design.
