This artwork showcases two symbolic hand gestures, the raised fist and the fig hand. Evelyn Tannus used moulds and liquid clay. Each piece features original decal illustrations in three colours and hand-painted bronze accents. The anatomical hearts and the words diva and vida reinforce themes of vitality, strength and defiance. The lions and tropical foliage grounding the figures add a layered sense of identity and resilience, linking the personal and the political through bold visual language.
