This calligraphy is one of the early works of Ruben Malayan. He did not accidentally choose to write the famous lines from the Book of Proverbs 1-2, which were the first to be translated when the modern Armenian alphabet was created in 405 AD. The text reads 'To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding'.
