This is an over-mantle veil created for Esperanza de Triana, in Seville. It is inspired by an antique piece, of which only photographic and ceramic records remained. The piece is exceptionally rich, featuring a great variety of stitches, with guipure rosettes standing out. For this work, Alfonso Aguilar was awarded the Demófilo Prize by The Machado Foundation in 2024.
