April Sky

This framed decorative wall piece is inspired by a photograph of a sunset in April taken by Susannah Weiland. The object is crafted using hand embroidery threads to reflect the sunset colours. Thousands of French knots are meticulously stitched into leather to create a striking pointillist effect. The piece is then embellished with seed beads to enhance the contrast between the smooth leather, metallic accents and the rich texture of the embroidery.
