Metal inlay in wood

This cedar wood panel combines metalwork, woodcraft and decorative patterns. A metal inlay from Alhambra, Spain, sits at the centre, featuring circular floral motifs in shades of blue, white and turquoise, while its finely painted interwoven border is inspired by the Turkish zencerek style.
