Winged mermaid

This free-standing small scale sculpture piece is made from a pebble of transparent rock crystal quartz that has been free-hand-engraved in a reverse intaglio technique. When moving the stone, the mermaid figure shifts ever so slightly, giving the sense that she follows the movements of the beholder.
