This coloured vase, crafted from a maple burl, is named after Hekate, the Greek goddess of crossroads, thresholds, and transitions, and guardian of the gates between worlds. Standing 50 cm high, the vase is dyed with water-based stains in black and crimson, with the rim and aperture gilded with variegated gold leaf.
