Duna

Here is a collection of handwoven baskets shaped by the wind, like dunes. The pieces are made with leaves from the Palmeira-anã palm tree using the empreita de palma traditional basketweaving technique from the Algarve. Each light beige piece was plaited and sewn into unique organically curved modern sculptures.
