This is a freeform tabletop with soft sheer edges, veneered in a wild reddish vibrating mahogany wood. A radical contrasting base of three curved segments in pear wood joins the top in a traditional, demountable solid joint. The blackened Campeche pear wood base offers a great contrast with the solid smooth top, inlayed with ziricote details, at the place where the base meets the tabletop.
