This porcelain sculpture is inspired by the colours of ringed seal fur. Each porcelain hair is tinted, modelled then sewn one by one by hand onto a textile. The seal is an emblematic animal in Greenland, an essential part of marine biodiversity and in the life of Inuit communities.
Homo Faber Finds is a new service aiming to inspire admirers of craft to connect and collaborate with exceptional artisans.
