Organic Minimalism – Visceral collection

These are a series of organic, creature-like pieces from Toni Porto’s Visceral collection. They depict the morphing forces of the wood as it struggles to surrender to the turning, hollowing and drying processes. They were created from European oak wood, one with a natural finish and the other two being smoked in ammonia.
