This is the detail of a large tapestry, which was inspired during the Covid pandemic. Visceral colours in abstract flowing shapes form the composition. Several different techniques were used such as wrapping, tufting and knotting to give 3D texture and interest to the woven surface. The design utilises newspaper images, government published graphs and rainbow colours used in support for key workers in the UK during lockdown.
