Discordia

Discordia is a nylon-string electric guitar. The piece plays with volumes and shapes while maintaining the instrument's functionality. This work creates a dialogue between the craft of luthery and the expanded field of the arts, particularly painting. It is influenced by the works of Kandinsky, Mondrian, and Paul Klee.
