This hon-sanmai kitchen knife by Joni Karvinen was forge welded from titanium and modern carbon steel. Being mostly titanium, it is extremely light and agile, and the handle is made of ebony. The chaotic pattern developed naturally when quenched from high temperature into a pool of concentrated acid.
