This wall sculpture is formed of the four wings of a butterfly and made using plant-dyed wool. The surface of the artwork depicts an enlarged butterfly image. The wings are richly decorated with complex patterns that show a combination of natural colours of brown, black, white and beige. The patterns on the wings create the illusion of eyes and have wavy and circular lines reminiscent of the structure of leaves or tree bark.
