Rose box

The lid of this box features a copy on paper of a rose painted by Paolo Carandini’s grandfather in 1947. The rose is painted onto the wood and then covered with translucent parchment. The sides of the box are covered with green and white parchment while on the inside there are copies of handwritten letters from the 18th century, covered with translucent parchment.
