Shinkyo Nakamura’s doll is crafted from bisque-fired clay, wood, and is adorned with vibrant pigments. Traditional Japanese dolls carry prayers for prosperity, protection, and longevity. Dolls depicting children symbolise hopes for a newborn's healthy growth, often modelled after heroes like samurai.
