光華 Kōka, Radiant Flower

This piece is a goblet designed for alcohol sips. With its ornate decoration and tall stem, it is far from utilitarian. Instead, it was created for celebratory feasts and the most significant days in life. The finished work is adorned with divine beauty as if it were meant to be offered to the gods. The cup is filled with light and encapsulates a splendid flower blooming from an elegantly extending stem.
