Babel

Made from porcelain in its liquid state and poured into a handmade leather mould, this piece by Bernardita Cossio is shaped by physical variables such as tension and gravity. The delicate balance of these forces transforms the shape, changing and challenging the nature of the materials. "This phenomenon, says Bernardita, reflects how vulnerable we are – chemically, mentally and spiritually – to the energy of the environment that surrounds us."
