Amongst the Prickles

In this lacquered panel, gold and silver leaf gilded roses are enhanced with mother-of-pearl and abalone inlayed droplets. The panel was lacquered 25 to 30 times. In Tuesday’s art, viewers are transported to the forest floor, offering a glimpse into her imaginative world – an ethereal nocturne where the cycles of life and death unfold unnoticed.
