Fragment 13

This is an abstract ceramic sculpture in white, made from a mixture of stoneware and porcelain. The work is made by hand from slabs and coils of clay. To achieve the delicate appearance, layers of the surface are carefully removed during the drying process. The edges of the work fold inward as a result of the firing process.
