Anne Athena's work often starts with her poetry, and therefore she believes the poem connected to the specific work is the best description: Too Much Love Misread, misgiving, misunderstood, missed. Too much giving, too much taken, too much wanted, too little received. Not seen, not heard, no attempt, nothing. Looked at, looked into, looked beneath, looked beyond. Fear hidden, fear found, fear of feeling, feared. Shame repressed, shame remembered, shame released, shameless. Space held, space given, space to be, spaciousness. Love discovered, love experienced, love shared, loved. Freedom from within, freedom to see, freedom to be, freed.
