Millefiori murrine tile

This tile is made with colourful fragments of mixed flowers murrina. It is the result of a four-step glass fusion technique. First, fragments of murrina are positioned in a flat form by hand and then fused at high temperature. After 24 hours of cooling, the piece is sanded, polished by hand and carefully reshaped and curved.
