This brooch belongs to the I Residenti collection. The city of Venice loses more and more inhabitants each year, and in this collection Michela Bortolozzi transforms animals and plants living in the lagoon into shining hand-chiselled brass brooches. Through these objects she hopes to provoke and invite reflection on who will remain in Venice once all the Venetians have left.
Homo Faber Finds is a new service aiming to inspire admirers of craft to connect and collaborate with exceptional artisans.
