This violin was made from ten-year air-dried high-mountain Bosnian maple wood, and eight-year air-dried Pohorje spruce. The maple wood is used on the body, ribs and back, while the spruce is for the soundboard. The instrument is fine-varnished and polished to a high-gloss finish. The fittings are crafted from high-quality ebony.
