This rug is made out of sailcloth weighing 600g per square metre. Suleika Ulmen worked on this base in various techniques: turquoise acrylic paint, cyclam silk fabric with a flower print and gold pigments. As a final touch, coatings of special lacquer finish make the fabric’s surface durable.
