The Whale and the Goldfish

This object group includes four fish-shaped bowls, the white whale, and the sea. It is a storytelling sculpture: the whale carries the goldfish, while the other fish are free. The artwork was created using the slip casting technique, fired at high temperatures, and decorated with cobalt blue sunk-in glaze and gold paint on glaze.
